The Offering
The retreat offers several daily yoga sessions, a group hike to the magical Nauyaca waterfall, zip lining in Manuel Antonio, daily sunset meditations on the beach, a sound healing in celebration of the solar eclipse, a cacao ceremony, and an intention setting new moon circle.
This will all be complemented by delicious meals and relaxing pool time at Danyasa Eco-Resort and exploring the beaches, shops, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and open-air market which make Dominical a highly desired destination for experiencing the Pura Vida lifestyle Costa Rica is known for.
The combination of adventure, mindfulness, and relaxation is the perfect combination to help one disconnect, recharge, and reboot in an intentional way to feel invigorated and renewed.

The quaint beach town of Dominical lies on the northern border of the Osa Peninsula, considered the most biodiverse place on Earth by the National Geographic Society and the United Nations. Dominical and the surrounding areas boast world class surf, lush jungle covered mountains that soar from the sea, an abundance of exciting adventure and excursion opportunities, and spectacular natural attractions ranging from waterfalls to sea caves to mangroves to hidden beaches and more!

Dominical offers a number of great restaurants, from local “tipico” cuisine to international options such as sushi, mexican, vegetarian, cafes, a craft beer brewery, and more. Most everything you need can be easily gotten in Dominical, with amenities such as a health food store with over 100 organic fruits and vegetables as well as natural products, an artisan market, ATM’s, a variety of stores and shopping and several grocery stores.
Danyasa Eco-Retreat
Surrounded by lush jungle and stunning beaches, Danyasa Eco-Retreat is located in the Southern Pacific Coastal town of Dominical, Costa Rica. Imagine yourself sitting beneath a majestic waterfall, exploring the rainforest, diving under the warm waves, and practicing yoga by day in Danyasa's beautiful Bamboo Yoga Play studio and resting by night in an eco-chic container room.
Bamboo Yoga Studio
Multiple daily yoga offerings take place in the open-air Bamboo Yoga Studio. For your convenience and comfort, yoga mats and all props are provided for use in the studio.
Wake up and begin your day in celebration of the rising Sun with a heat building, invigorating Vinyasa flow practice led by Melissa Maddern.
Embrace the soft and gentle energy of the Moon before bed each evening with a calming and cooling Yin or Restorative offering led by Kate Thomas.
Danyasa Eco-lodge was not only designed with sustainability and comfort in mind, but utilizes an understated and nature inspired aesthetic which feels soothing and peaceful.
The Space
There’s plenty of space at Danyasa to lay back and relax. Gorgeous common spaces, which include two lounges, an eating
area, and a pool/sundeck, are exclusively open to our retreat guests during your stay. The mermaid pool (complete with waterfalls!) and sun deck
are the perfect spots for relaxing and swimming during the day or
evening.
Rest, relax, and renew by spending time cooling off in the pool between yoga sessions or after a day of exploring town or sunning on the beach.
Inviting communal spaces offer an opportunity to gather and connect with fellow yogis in a beautiful atmosphere.
Accommodations
Rooms strike a balance between eco-friendliness and luxurious comfort. All rooms boast top quality mattresses, 1500 thread count sheets, hot water, AC, high-speed WiFi and access to free filtered drinking water to maximize your comfort. Only the most eco-friendly and carefully sourced soaps, detergents and cleaning products, as well as energy efficient lighting and appliances are used, going the extra mile to respect and preserve the beautiful nature around us. Everything was built off the ground and in the air, to let the jungle life and the tropical rain flow unimpeded below.

A Day in Paradise
Each morning will begin with a heat building Vinyasa offering followed by delicious meals, exciting excursions, free-time to relax by the pool, sit on the beach, swim in the ocean, and explore town. In the evenings we'll wind down with a gentle Yin, Restorative, or Nidra practice before returning to our rooms for a restful night's sleep.

Souvenirs
$1,995 per person shared occupancy/$2,595 for private room - only 4 private rooms available and are reserved on a first come first serve basis. If you would like a private room and there aren’t any remaining, we will place your name on a waitlist and reach out if the opportunity to upgrade becomes available.
A deposit of $300 per person reserves your spot with the remaining balance due by 06/01/24. Payment plans available. Email Kate Thomas at JourneywithJoybird@gmail.com to inquire about a payment plan option. Booking early is highly encouraged for this retreat due to a limit of 22 participants.

Standard cancellation policy: Payments are final and non-refundable; if extenuating circumstances require you to cancel and we’re able to fill your spot, a partial refund may be issued (minus a 15% admin fee) on a case-by-case basis.
